All-time great praises Man Utd left-back Luke Shaw for a stellar EURO 2020 performances

Roberto Carlos is thrilled with the Three Lions defender
When a legend like Roberto Carlos says kind words for your qualities, then you must've been doing something really good. That's exactly the case with Manchester United defender Luke Shaw, a starter in the Gareth Southgate's tonight team against Denmark (22.00).
Shaw is astonishing the whole footballing world with his performance at the EURO 2020. The left-back is having a great tournament and, in fact, had a powerful performance in the quarter-finals. His display against Ukraine was spectacular.
Roberto Carlos, one of the all-time greats in that position, has not spared praise when evaluating the Englishman's game:
"You can see that he is very motivated. His performance against Ukraine was outstanding. He has been improving in every game. I think he has everything to reach the top. He is the left-back for England. That in itself says a lot. "

After these words, Shaw himself could not do anything other than respond to these compliments.
"Obviously, it's terrific to hear that from one of the best left-backs in history, and after the game, when I saw that he had followed me and commented on my photo, I couldn't believe it, to be honest," the Englishman confessed.
