Archer fires devastating arrows, but Everton's goalscorers and Pickford are awake

Sheffield United and Everton share four goals at Bramall Lane
Sheffield United's new signing Cameron Archer had a dream debut just days after joining the club in a $22.7 million transfer from Aston Villa. He scored the goal to deny Abdoulaye Doucoure's opener and then forced Jordan Pickford's own goal with a fantastic shot. However, it wasn't enough for the Blades to take three points against Everton.
With the visitors getting an early lead at Bramall Lane, Archer became the youngest English player to score on his first Premier League start since Matty Longstaff did the same for Newcastle United against Manchester United in October 2019. The product of Aston Villa's academy got his goal aged 21 years and 267 days.
The young Englishman then earned his team the lead, darting a terrific shot that bounced off the goal's frame and Pickford before crossing the line.

According to Phil Jagielka, a former defender who played for both Everton and Sheffield United, Archer is the player who will be the focal point of this Blades' team and will continue the job which was conducted by Iliman Ndiaye last season and club legend Billy Sharp in the years before.
"Manager Heckingbottom wants a goalscorer who will take a chance when he gets it. Archer's proven that, not only for Middlesbrough last year but even for England's Under-21s. The Blades have had someone like that for many years in Iliman and Sharpy. That's what they've built their success on. They had a player who could get at least double figures in terms of goals. The Premier League is a bit more difficult than the Championship, but that's what they'll need to stay up this season."

Meanwhile, Everton have ended a run of 316 minutes without a Premier League goal since Doucoure also scored against Bournemouth on the final day of last season to seal survival. Everton have become the 20th and final club to score this season. Sean Dyche's team needed 47 shots to finally find the net.
Former Villarreal and Bournemouth winger Arnaut Danjuma got the visitors on level terms again. Portuguese international Beto, who recently joined the Toffees for $38 million, started a move that ended with Nathan Patterson squaring the ball nicely for Danjuma to easily turn it over the line and level the score ten minutes into the second half.
Both teams tried to find a winner, but Pickford pulled of a magical save in added time to prevent the hosts from getting a dramatic win in the South Yorkshire sunshine.
