Arsenal legend is not impressed by Italy at the EURO 2020 so far

Despite becoming the first team to make the knockout stages, Italy lack 'intensity, power and pace' - as per Patrick Vieira
Two dominating performances by the Italians to open up the European championship - two three-nil victories against Turkey and Switzerland, with keeper Gigi Donnarumma having his first save in the 64th minute - of the second match.
If you count the qualifiers for the tournament - Italy has not conceded a goal in last 12 matches.
Even though Azzurri became the first team to make it through to the knockout stages of the tournament, Arsenal and France legend Patrick Vieira says Italy will struggle to go all the way in Euro 2020.
Former midfielder Vieira claimed Roberto Mancini's side lack 'intensity, power and pace'. and he was not satisfied with Italy's performance during their 3-0 win over Switzerland on last night.
'I think the first two games that they played were two easy games.' Vieira told ITV after the match.
'Of course… you have to [beat] what is in front of you, but I still have doubts they can go to the end.
'I believe that they lack intensity, lack power, pace, to be even more dangerous going forward, so I'm still going to wait.
'I think it's still a bit too early to take Italy into consideration, that they can go to the end.'
Vieira's playing days opponent during their Premier League rivalry - Garry Neville - agrees with the Frenchman and thinks Italy would 'fall short' in the upcoming stages of the tournament.
'Italy were not in trouble all night, the worry for Italy is that they've not been tested.' he said.
'Italy are achieving their maximum, but I agree with Patrick, I feel they will fall short, they do everything they do well though.
'You know they will give their all, they fill the areas, fill the box, midfield runners. They are a passionate team and it will be interesting to see how they do against a good team.'

Even though there is respected knowledge of the game between these two pundits and great ex-footballers, numbers so far are Mancini's advantage.
Italy registered their last loss in a UEFA Nations League game against Portugal in 2018 - they are now unbeaten in 29 games in all competitions.
Mancini will also be looking to become the first team since Germany in Euro 2012 to record three group-stage wins as they face Wales in the last round of group A at the EURO 2020.
