Real Madrid beat Juventus in an exciting UCL classic thanks to Jude's second-half winner, following a clear-cut chance for the visitors
Things are looking quite awful for Juventus at the moment, as they've reached their seventh winless game in a row!
Igor Tudor's men were eager to stop their deplorable streak and make amends at the best possible place on Earth - at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium on Wednesday night, but things just didn't go according to plan for the Bianconeri. Real Madrid celebrated a deserved 1-0 win to keep their perfect Champions League score - three games, nine points.

It would be untrue to say that the Italian side didn't have its chances against Los Blancos, but the ones they missed while the teams were levelled at 0-0 proved crucial.
Especially the one Dusan Vlahovic had early in the second half. After quite a dull first half on both ends, which provided us with Di Gregorio's (first) masterful save of Mbappe's close-range effort, the second part of the match unfolded just as we expected - with lots of fireworks.
As we said, Vlahovic found himself in an almost perfect position to nail it, rushing into the box with Eder Militao on his back and Thibaut Courtois awaiting on the line. Vlahovic's run was more than promising, but the Belgian veteran pulled off one of his immaculate saves to literally do that - save Real Madrid.

The punishment was almost instant and brutal. Vinicius Jr made a mess on the left flank before firing it low into the far corner. The ball ricocheted off the left post and Jude Bellingham was there to poke it smoothly before all those Juve defenders, 1-0.
What followed was the apparent desire of Xabi Alonso's men to wrap up the tie way before the final whistle, but Di Gregorio made miracles - he denied Mbappe's and Brahim Diaz's back-to-back shots in spectacular fashion.

Unlike him, his teammates were nowhere near the necessary level to hurt the Spaniards, with Openda and Kostic being closest to scoring. Alas, it was just not enough, as Raul Asencio and Courtois decided this was not the night to concede. Nor to let anything to their rival, a point and hope included.
