Blues score and instantly turn off as Cunha-led Wolves run riots at Stamford Bridge

Wolverhampton leapfrog Chelsea after brushing them aside 4-2 on Sunday night

Eight goals conceded, only three scored, and two painful losses - that's the summary of Chelsea's week, as the Blues lost 4-2 at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers after that recent bitter 4-1 defeat to Liverpool.

Mauricio Pochettino's job is in jeopardy, although it seemed like we're heading into a routine win of their following Cole Palmer's exquisite opener. A superb Caicedo's through ball found Palmer near the edge of the box, and the former Manchester City striker made the most of that promising situation with a resolute finish.

However, that lead lasted less than three minutes. Matheus Cunha's attempt took a massive deflection off Thiago Silva, and the Blues' keeper Djordje Petrovic was on the wrong foot, so the equalizer was inevitable.

As if someone put a spell on Petrovic, the next one he conceded before the break was like a carbon copy of that first one.

Another deflection (this time off Axel Disasi), wrong-footed Petrovic again, and another Wolves goal!

Despite the Blues' determination and desire to return to the game, excellent visitors opted for lethal counters, and it paid off for them as Cunha pounced on a perfect cross to put his name on the scoresheet for the second time (not the last, though).

That wasn't the end of Poch's agony today, with the visiting side ignoring that they were already two goals up. Instead, they opted for more dominance, bagging the fourth from the spot as Cunha sealed his perfect day with a hat-trick.

Thiago Silva's late goal provided the hosts with not much consolation. Poch has many things to worry about before next week, including the FA Cup clash against Aston Villa.
