At least, when it comes to August. Nuno Espirito Santo and Marco Silva are the once to congratulate

How do you spell 'dominance' in English? Basically, it's simple: P-o-r-t-u-g-u-e-s-e.

Practical jokes aside, the influence of Portuguese football on contemporary England is almost incomprehensible. First, it is, of course, the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo that made all the headlines in previous weeks and a culmination is nowhere near the end since CR7 is yet to make his debut with the Red Devils after rejoining them from Juventus.

Meanwhile, two of his compatriots also dominate the game, only in terms of coaching.

Tottenham gaffer Nuno Espirito Santo and Fulham coach Marco Silva have been honoured as the Premier League and the EFL Championship managers of August, respectively.

It's a massive endorsement for Portuguese football that two of their tacticians are the best among England's top flights' colleagues.

Silva and his Fulham are looking really strong in the second division with four wins and one draw after the first five rounds. The Craven Cottage outfit are sitting at the top of the table, and his offensive approach seems like a superb solution for Aleksandar Mitrovic and his gang.

On the other end, Espirito Santo's slot is in high spirits after more than a successful start to the season that launched them straight to the top of the table with three one-goal victories.

Those are some new moments in English football, and Cristiano Ronaldo will definitely make sure the Portuguese language becomes more and more popular in the British Isles.
