League returnees take on a tepid Ulinzi in Nakuru

Football Kenya Federation Premier League returnees Nairobi City Stars will be gunning to disarm Ulinzi Stars for the second time this season when they clash at the ASK grounds Nakuru on Saturday.

City Stars humiliated the soldiers 2-0 in the Football Kenya Federation Cup round of sixteen played last month and will be looking to stamp authority over them again this time round, in the league.

The two teams played to a one all draw in the first leg but City Stars head coach Sanjin Alagic believes they are better placed to carry the day if their preparation is anything to go by.

The Bosnian who anticipates a tough clash said that his charges who will be aiming to end their two matches win less run had enjoyed enough rest after their tedious journey to Mombasa where they played Bandari to a one all draw last weekend.

"Ulinzi are always difficult to crash. We know each other well, we played twice this year and we had positive results over them and I believe if we play well we will get the three points. The team is in good shape and brimming in confidence," he said.

As City Stars who welcome Timothy Ouma from a lengthy suspension occasioned by his decision to leave for trials to Nigeria hope to exert their dominance, the hosts who are win less in the last three matches will be praying to exorcise the Nakuru nightmares as they have suffered the heaviest defeat of the season there.

Ulinzi fell 4-1 to Tusker last month and were last weekend schooled by Kakamega Homeboyz 3-1 at the Bukhungu Stadium a run which works against their plan to have a respectable finish.
