Delighted Lwasa revels after opening goal account at K’Ogalo

The new signing opened his account after just three games

New Gor Mahia signing Peter Lwasa has expressed his delight after officially opening his goal account with the record Kenyan champions after just three league games.

In a rescheduled midweek fixture played on Wednesday, the Ugandan international, who joined Gor before the commencement of the 2021/2022 Football Kenya Federation Premier League season, announced his arrival in style as he scored against his former side Kariobangi Sharks to ensure Gor sealed all three points when he scored the team’s second goal that got the job done and saw Sharks lose their first game this season while K’Ogalo maintained their perfect start to the season with a third consecutive win.

ā€œI am very very happy because I know I have started my new journey at Gor Mahia. I have my targets to achieve for the season and that goal now gives me a picture of how to go forward. This is just the start of the journey now and I feel it is going to help me move towards my goals,ā€ the player told Mozzart Sport.

Since joining, the player has enjoyed favour in terms of selection from head coach Mark Harrison as he has started in all the three games the team has played against KCB< AFC Leopards and Kariobangi Sharks. Something that the ex-Shark did not fail to acknowledge has played a big part in helping him quickly find his footing at his new work station.
