Cameroonian legend was an essential member of that treble-winning Neroazzurri squad in the 2009/10 season

If anyone deserves it, then it's definitely Samuel Eto'o.

The legendary Cameroon striker has been inducted into the Inter Milan Hall of Fame. One of the finest African players was chosen with the Italians Marco Materazzi, Gianluca Pagliuca, and Dutchman Wesley Sneijder.

Eto'o played a vital role in that treble-winning side that won it all in the 2009/10 season.

As per the official Inter website, Eto'o succeeds ''authentic sacred monsters'' in the history of Inter that are already in the HoF: Ronaldo, Giuseppe Meazza and Diego Milito.

''An ideal handover: in 2020 Diego Milito, in 2021 Samuel Eto'o. And again: the wave of the Treble that does not die out, with the third player in this edition that the fans have chosen drawing from the Inter squad in 2010. Here he is, therefore, Samuel Eto'o in the Nerazzurri Hall of Fame."

Arriving at the Guiseppe Meazza Stadium in the summer of 2009, he collected 102 appearances and scored 53 goals. Above all, he won as many as six trophies with Neroazzurri, leaving an indelible trace.
