Alexandre Lacazette, 32, is on the exit doors of the Ligue 1 bottom side
He left Arsenal in 2022 to pursue a dream of returning home to Olympique Lyon, where it all started for Alexandre Lacazette years ago. And in the first season with the Ligue 1 greats, it seemed like a truly splendid move. Laca netted 27 times, with only Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe scoring more.
However, the current campaign has been awful for the former Arsenal captain - he has made just three appearances for Lyon, sitting at the rock bottom of Ligue 1. Lacazette has been flitting in and out of the team, and the latest reports suggest he's on the club's exit doors despite the contract running until 2025.
According to Le Progres newspaper, OM are considering selling Lacazette, 32, along with Corentin Tolisso during the upcoming January Transfer Window.
Amidst their relegation battle, they are apparently set to sell two of their most experienced players. Lacazette's €5.4m per year deal runs until July of 2025, whilst Tolisso's €4.8m per year deal expires in 2027.
