Bunyore Starlets and Kisumu All Starlets are fighting relegation while Kangemi Ladies cannot escape the axe.

With the Women Premier League (WPL) title already decided, the fight to finish top five has become the target for most of the remaining teams.

On Sunday, last season's champions Thika Queens host Trans Nzoia Falcons at the Thika Stadium as they look to bag maximum points and reclaim second place currently held by Gaspo Women following their win on Saturday.

"Falcons are a very physical side and the first leg match was tough, seeing as we were playing away. We managed a point in a one-all draw but we are looking to bag maximum points and move closer to our desired second-place finish," offered Thika's team manager Granton Mganga

However, the Benta Achieng-led side have a tough test against a Falcons side keen to bag maximum points and hope Zetech Sparks slip so as to move fifth at 32 points.

"We have prepared well knowing that Thika are a tough opponent. We played for a barren draw in the first leg at home. We have, however, identified areas to exploit to get the goals and how to handle what they throw at us. We still have one matches to play but the target is to get wins in all so as to be in the top five," offered Falcons' Justin Okiring

In the other match of the day, fifth-placed Zetech Sparks welcome Wadadia FC at GEMS Cambridge grounds.

Bernard Kitolo is set on leading his charges to a third-place finish. Victory against Wadadia takes them to 33 points and maintain fifth place despite the outcome of Thika's match who head to today's match at 34 points.
