In a revised schedule, the regular league will end on June 12 with the playoff quarters set for June 19. The semis and final are scheduled for June 25 and 27 respectively,
With only two rounds left to the conclusion of the Women Premier League (WPL) regular season, five teams have already secured their places in the playoff, with zone B's third place the only slot up for contention.
Defending champions, Vihiga Queens, on Sunday 30 May beat playoff-hopefuls Nakuru West Queens 3-2 to accumulate an unassailable 34 points to top Zone A ahead of Wadadia FC.
Goals from Topister Situma in the 19th minute, Gentrix Shikangwa in the 24th minute and top scorer Terry Engesha a minute to the break handed the Alex Alumira-coached side the win.

Diana Koske had pulled one for the visitors in the 28th minute for the match to head to the break on 3-1scoreline. The second half was largely quiet until the 88th minute when Stella Odhiambo scored for Nakuru but Vihiga held on for the win.
Second placed Wadadia have also secured a place in the playoff with the only change likely to happen being their position at the conclusion of the regular season.
Up against already relegated Eldoret Falcons, Wadadia collected maximum point without breaking a sweat as, for the second weekend in a row, Eldoret Falcons failed to show for a home match. Wadadia are second on the zone B log at 25 points.
Nakuru, despite their loss remain third at 21 points, three behind Kisumu All Starlets who were held to a three-all draw at home by Trans-Nzoia Falcons. Interestingly, the three teams still have a shot at the playoffs. Wins in the remaining fixtures for either team with the other two losing their respective matches hands such a team the third slot into the playoffs.
Meanwhile, former champions Thika Queens have top place in Zone A secured as Ulinzi Starlets and Gaspo Women, who have already qualified for the playoffs, fight for second place. Thika remain unbeaten after 12 rounds for 36 points.
Ulinzi won their weekend match 4-0 against against Makolanders, with goals from Luck Nato, Diana Shakava, Emily Auma and Lucy Mukhwana to take their points tally to 27.
Gaspo, on their part, beat relegated Mathare Women 5-1 to garner 25 points. With only two matches left to play, fourth placed Zetech Sparks cannot surpass Gaspo on the log. Gaspo, however, have a chance to go second on the log.
The relegation battle in zone A, however, got interesting as Zetech, Kayole and Kibera all fight to escape the axe. Kibera beat Zetech 2-0 in their weekend fixture to give their survival chances a boost.
Zetech are fourth at 14 points, one above Kayole who lost to Thika Queens 3-0 over the weekend and two above Kibera who picked ma
