Waganda continues to etch her name in the history books after winning her sixth league title making her the most decorated player in the league.
Waganda bagged her sixth title following Police’s confirmation as the league champions this season, with the coronation scheduled for Sunday, 17 May, after their league match against Madira Soccer Assassins.
Speaking to the club’s media, Waganda, who has experienced many high moments in her WPL career, opened up on her best season.
"The season has been great. We have been approaching every game as a final which has been tough as every team comes prepared for us but we now have the reward," she said. "The 2023/24 title with Police was the best for me because it was the first time I won it with Police, and in our first season."

The 2023/24 season saw Police create history by winning the league title in their maiden season in the top flight.
With a smile of satisfaction on her face, the versatile midfielder reflected on her achievements.
“I am very proud of myself. It is an achievement that I would also wish the younger players to accomplish,” she added.
Half of Waganda’s titles were during her days at defunct Thika Queens, which is the team that transitioned to Kenya Police Bullets after acquisition by Kenya Police.
Having played in the local scene, Waganda shared the main differences in the league a couple of years ago, and today.
“There is a big difference between the league then and now. Then, lifting the title did not mean much, as there was little reward, and no continental football like CECAFA. Additionally, the league was all about two teams, Thika Queens and Vihiga Queens, which is not the case now, as there are several other good teams,” stated Waganda.
