In the other matches of the day, Sofapaka host Shabana, Nairobi United face Police FC, Bandari FC take on Tusker FC, while Bidco United battle Murang’a Seal.
Kenyan giants Gor Mahia will sit out this weekend’s fixtures after the Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) suspended their match against Mara Sugar due to a dispute over the venue involving K’Ogalo, Mara Sugar and FKF.
Ahead of today’s games, Gor Mahia remain at the summit of the league table with 68 points, four more than second-placed AFC Leopards, while Police FC are a distant third with 52 points.
At the other end of the table, relegation-bound Sofapaka and Bidco United sit at the bottom with 18 and 24 points respectively, and are joined in the relegation zone by Kariobangi Sharks, who have 34 points.
AFC Leopards vs APS Bomet
With Gor Mahia inactive, AFC Leopards have a chance to close in on K’Ogalo and reduce the gap to just one point when they face Mozzart Bet-backed APS Bomet at Kericho Green Stadium from 1400 hrs.
Leopards have gone neck and neck with K’Ogalo in the title race this season but now face one of their toughest fixtures of the campaign.
While they have a chance to close in on Gor Mahia, their title hopes could also suffer a major blow if they fail to win, as K’Ogalo would then move closer to being crowned champions with two games left to play.
Ingwe head into the match full of confidence after back-to-back wins over Ulinzi Stars and Kakamega Homeboyz, a run they will hope to continue against APS.
For APS, Ksh1.85 million awaits courtesy of club patron and Cabinet Secretary (CS) Kipchumba Murkomen if they manage to collect maximum points.
Coach Sammy Pamzo Omollo expressed confidence in delivering victory for their fans in what will be their final home match of the season.
“Leopards is a good team with good players and we respect them for that. However, we will continue working hard as we have done in the recent past and hopefully get a win.
Our last-minute loss to Leopards in the first leg is still fresh in our minds and we will be out to avenge it.
Our fans have been amazing throughout the season and have travelled with the team as far as Kwale, so we would like to repay them with a win,” Pamzo told Mozzart Sport.
Sofapaka vs Shabana
Sofapaka will host what could be their final top-flight match before dropping to the National Super League (NSL) when they face Shabana at Nyayo National Stadium from 1400 hrs.
Batoto Ba Mungu will be playing for pride with their fate already sealed, while Shabana will be keen to collect maximum points to boost their position on the league table.
Sitting fourth on the log with 51 points, a win for the Glamour Boys could lift them to third place as they continue adapting to the philosophy of coach Osborne Monday.
Nairobi United vs Police FC

Reigning Mozzart Bet Cup champions Nairobi United will welcome 2024 Mozzart Bet Cup champions Police FC to the Ulinzi Sports Complex from 1600 hrs.
Naibois are out to continue what has been an impressive debut season in the top flight, where they currently sit fifth on the log.
Speaking ahead of the match, assistant coach Sadique Ambani expressed satisfaction with how the team has prepared.
“We have had a fruitful week of training and we now expect the boys to give their best and deliver positive results against a good Police side,” said Ambani.
In the opposite dugout will be their immediate former coach Nicholas Muyoti, a fact defender David Wafula believes adds extra intensity to the match.
“Everyone knows we are going to face a side coached by Muyoti, who was here and is a very tactical coach, and that adds to the toughness of the match,” said Wafula.
Bandari FC vs Tusker FC
At the KPA Sports Club in Mbaraki, Bandari will lock horns with Tusker FC from 1500 hrs in another key fixture of the day.
The Dockers head into the match sitting 10th on the table and in poor form after failing to win their last three league matches, including a 2-0 home loss to APS Bomet. They will be hoping to return to winning ways at the expense of Tusker.
The Brewers, on the other hand, head into the match full of confidence after their triumph in the Mozzart Bet Cup. While they will be keen to improve on their seventh-place position, they are also likely to use the match as part of their preparations for the Mozzart Bet Cup final.
Bidco United vs Murang’a Seal
Bidco United will host their final FKF Premier League match before dropping to the NSL when they face Murang’a Seal at St. Sebastian Park from 1500 hrs.
The Oilers will be out to ease their disappointment with a win, while Seal will be hoping to bounce back from their 3-1 loss to Gor Mahia.
