
Gaspo, Vihiga continue chase for KWPL title

The two sides are tied at the top of the standings with 34 points
Gaspo Women and Vihiga Queens continue their quests for the Kenya Women Premier League (WPL) title on Sunday 23 April when the two take on their respective opponents.
Multiple Kenyan champions Vihiga Queens host Bunyore Starlets at the Mumias Complex in one of the two matches set to be played at 11 AM.
Vihiga trail Gaspo on goal difference, with both teams tied on 34 points, and are out to outscore their opponent with the hope that Gaspo are held in Kitale.
Leaders Gaspo Women take on Trans Nzoia Falcons at the Ndura Sports Complex in Kitale starting at 1 PM.
For the hunt for their maiden league title, Gaspo brought in experienced coach Jacob Ghost Mulee to help them see through the remaining matches of the campaign with the hope that he will help guide them to lift the trophy.
Relegated Kayole Starlet FC are set to host Nakuru City Queens at the Camp Toyoyo Grounds starting at 11 AM with Wadadia hosting Kisumu Allstarlets at the Mumias Complex at 1:15 PM.
