Juve bottle it massively, Napoli in Champions League, Milan still in contention

A super-exciting penultimate Serie A round provided us with a couple of surprising results and a whole lot to play for in the final matchday

Chaos has exploded into the Serie A top-four race just one week before the end of the season.

Juventus arrived at Matchday 37 sitting third and looking like the team with the clearest path toward next season's Champions League. But when the pressure peaked, the Old Lady collapsed.

A shocking 2-0 home defeat against Fiorentina completely reshaped the standings and left Juventus down in sixth place ahead of the final round - and a massive derby clash against Torino.

The biggest winners of the weekend were AS Roma and AC Milan.

Roma beat fierce rivals SS Lazio 2-0 in the Derby della Capitale and climbed into third place, while Milan survived a tense night away to Genoa with a 2-1 victory that pushed the Rossoneri into fourth.

Meanwhile, Como 1907 continued their incredible rise under Cesc Fabregas by defeating Parma 1-0 and moving into fifth.

Massimiliano Allegri's team arrived at Marassi under pressure, struggling for form and surrounded by uncertainty behind the scenes. But despite another shaky performance, the Rossoneri somehow escaped with all three points (1-2).

After wasting several opportunities before halftime, Milan finally broke through thanks to Christopher Nkunku, who calmly converted a penalty after a disastrous defensive mistake from Genoa.

The second goal came through Christian Pulisic, whose clever pass found Athekame for a superb first-time finish from the edge of the area. Genoa pulled one back late through Vasquez, creating a nervy finale, but Milan survived.

Then came Juventus' disaster. Despite firing 26 shots on goal, the Bianconeri left empty-handed. Dusan Vlahovic came closest to scoring early on, only to be denied by a brilliant save from David de Gea. Instead, Fiorentina punished every mistake.

Cher Ndour launched the move for the opener before Solomon's precise pass found Endur for a clinical finish. Juventus thought they had found a way back when Vlahovic scored in the second half, but the goal was ruled out for offside, just like an earlier effort from Weston McKennie.

The final blow came from a familiar face. Former Juventus midfielder Rolando Mandragora unleashed a stunning strike into the top corner in the 83rd minute, silencing Turin and throwing the entire Champions League race into absolute madness heading into the final weekend.

Last but not least, Napoli profited from the whole situation as Antonio Conte's side rushed to a 3-0 landslide victory at Pisa, as McTominay and Hojlund put their names on the scoreboard, thus securing their UCL spot for next season.
