KCB are currently trailing Tusker by six points at the summit of the log with Abuko confident of securing a win.
Ahead of the top of the table clash pitting Tusker and KCB, the Bankers skipper Simon Abuko revealed that the team is approaching the encounter fearless.
KCB can whittle Tusker’s lead at the summit of the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) to just three points with the Brewers enjoying a six-point buffer.
Abuko noted that to stay on course with their target of clinching their maiden title, they have to beat the best of the best in the league.
“We are in the same league as Tusker, we cannot fear them. Our goal is to win the FKFPL title and if we want to achieve that we must beat those ahead of us and that is Tusker. We have started the season well and it is not a surprise because of the squad we have assembled that is good so we are aiming for the title,” said Abuko.

KCB will have an uphill task of overturning their wretched record against Tusker winning only once in 17 games, a record that dates back to 2009.
Abuko was adamant the league would return this weekend after the team underwent Covid-19 testing on Tuesday.
“With the testing, we know that the league is about to start, we have prepared well for the weekend game and we know we will get a good result over the weekend,” he added.
The game is slated for a 1 PM kick-off at the Kasarani Stadium on Saturday 15 May.
