The forward has been named in the match day squad for the first time since the league started last month
Kenyan international Henry Meja is on course to making his debut for AIK in the Swedish top-tier, Allsvenskan, after being included in the match day squad for the first time on Sunday.
AIK take on GIF Sundsvall on Sunday starting at 6:30 PM EAT in their sixth match of the campaign.
In the matchday squad released by the club on Sunday, Meja has been included in the 20-man squad for the first time alongside his Kenyan counterpart Eric Otieno who has been a household name for AIK lately.

The former Tusker forward has missed three wins against Djurgarden, Varbergs BoIS, and IFK Norrköping, and two losses against BK Häcken and Malmo and will be itching to get on the field.
Meja becomes the first of the trio of Frank Odhiambo, Collins Sichenje, and him who moved to Sweden before the start of the season to make it to the match day squad after Odhiambo missed on Saturday.
While Meja linked up with AIK in January, Odhiambo was unveiled by Djugarden in February, and the two were part of their respective team's preseason training although the latter's start to life in Sweden was curtailed by an injury that saw him sidelined for two weeks.
However, compatriot Collins Sichenje is yet to receive a work permit according to the club and therefore remains ineligible to feature for the club since making the switch from AFC Leopards in April.
