The club is expected to sign more in the course of the week

Right back Dennis Munyovi is set to re-join Football Kenya Federation Premier League debutants Murang’a Seal after agreeing terms with the club.

Munyovi, ditched Seal last year for Mully Children’s Family but he is in line to make his top flight bow after accepting an offer from the newbies who are strengthening ahead of their first season at the biggest stage.

The 24-year featured for Seal between 2018 to last year and was the highest scoring defender in the National Super League in the 2021-2022 season having fund the back of the net twelve times.

The versatile player went on to net a brace in the promotion/relegation playoff against Wazito but wasn’t enough to inspire the side to gain promotion as the latter retained its status on goal difference grounds.

Munyovi who has been training with Seal for the past week said picking Seal over FC Talanta who were also interested in his signature was an easy choice for him given the years he had worked with the Gikuu based side.

“I have re-joined Seal after my contract with MCF expired. It feels good to return to a club that gave me a chance when I was green. I can’t wait to wear that shirt again and give my best in the top tier,’ he told Mozzart Sport.

Seal have been linked with a number of players who possess top flight experience and among them is Wilberforce Lugogo and Zachary Gathu.

The two midfielders trained with the club last week with Lugogo turning up for the Hongera Awards ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Sports on Friday.

Lugogo featured for Bandari and SS Assad in the past campaign while Gathu was attached to Bidco United.
