Onana's spider net prevents Barca from scoring, as Inter clinch a surprising win

Dembele, Lewandowski and Ansu Fati were pushing for the almost entire 90 minutes, but the Cameroonian keeper kept the clean sheet

Nerazzurri deprived of any joy or enthusiasm on the one and high-flying Blaugrana on the other side. That was the setup for tonight's Champions League derby between Inter Milan and Barcelona. However, contrary to the expected outcome, the hosts went on to win 1-0 and ecstatically celebrate a victory against the mighty rivals.

This win saved Simone Inzaghi's life, at least for a moment, as Inter coach was on the verge of coaching death row due to lots of disappointing results since the start of the season.

Aware of that axe hanging above his head, the Italian gaffer ordered his soldiers to attack the favourites and never, not even for a second, considered an option of withdrawal.

It paid off for them in the first-half stoppage-time as Hakan Calhanoglu placed it cleverly in the bottom right corner of Ter Stegen's post for the win.

The Blaugrana responded through Pedri in the second half, but his equalizer was rightfully disallowed due to Ansu Fati's handball in the build-up.

Dembele, Lewandowski and Fati had several chances, but Cameroonian shot-stopper Andre Onana made a few incredible saves for a vital win against the giants.
