Pamzo's Police schedule Saturday afternoon brawl with beer brewers Tusker

Football Kenya Federation Premier League side Kenya Police will take on their counterparts Tusker FC in a friendly match this Saturday at the Nyayo Stadium starting at 3 PM.

The two sides will be seeking to continue their preparations ahead of the 2022/2023 campaign set to kick off next month, according to a communication by premier league clubs CEOs.

In a post on Tuesday confirming the test match, Police cheekily referred to themselves as the incoming champions, taking a jibe at title holders Tusker in the process.

"The incoming champions versus the outgoing champions. Venue: Nyayo National Stadium. Date/Time: Saturday 29th October 2022 at 3.00pm Karibu nyote baada ya kazi kuna Tusker," the post read.

Police and Tusker have been the most active in the pre-season period, arguably, with both sets of teams organizing pre-season camps for their players.

The Brewers were in Kericho for a week-long camp in September where they engaged in a number of friendlies with teams from across the divide.

Police, on the other hand, had planned a camp in Rwanda where they were set to play Rayon Sports but the match was canceled in the last minute owing to Kenya's suspension by FIFA.

The Sammy Pamzo Omolo charges are also the inaugural Elite Preseason Cup Tournament winners having edged out Nairobi City Stars in the final.
