Salim Ali could soon be back on the touchline after three clubs tabled bids for the coach.
Former Mathare United head coach Salim Ali is looking to return back to the touchline with three Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) sides chasing after his signature.
Ali was unceremoniously shown the door at the Slum Boys back in May as the team suffered a disastrous start to the season that has seen them being embroiled in a relegation dog fight.
Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Ali revealed that three clubs have tabled offers for his services, hinting that he could be back on the touchline before the end of the season.
“I’m hopefully looking at returning back to the touchline next season. There are a number of offers that I am still assessing. Hopefully I will take one of the offers sooner than I expect, all of the three clubs that have approached me are Premier League sides,” said Salim.

Despite tasking former Wazito FC head coach Frank Ouna with the reins, Mathare United are yet to turn their fortunes around as they are yet to pick up a win.
Salim however chose to pick up positives from his reign at the Slum Boys as he still reserved praise for his players who he highly regards.
“A positive that I can pick up is the quality of players that I have been with this season. We had very good players and I appreciate them because they always listened and followed my instructions,”
“I hope for the best for them, if they are given the right direction I know they can survive. This is not a team that should be relegated, in 2014 and 2017 they survived relegation in the final day,” added Salim.
