He doesn't want to go to MLS and Qatar, and who can blame him for that
French Ligue 1 side OCG Nice decided to build a team packed with proven, experienced players in order to qualify for the Champions League the next season.
To do so, they already brought Leicester City keeper Kasper Schmeichel, Aaron Ramsey arrived from Juventus, and the next big name that should appear in this picturesque city on the French riviera is none other than - Marcelo!
The experienced Brazilian is free on the market after the end of his mercurial spell with Real Real Madrid. Although the initial information said Marcelo would return to his homeland since he was unwilling to pursue adventures at MLS and Qatar, the interest from Nice changed everything.
Their new coach Lucien Favre has shown positive feelings toward his arrival in Nice, and now we are just waiting for the realization. Allegedly, the salary should not be a problem, and it will cost them half a million euros per month.
That's why Nice turned to experienced Brazilian and sees Marcelo as the solution, among other things, because of his contribution to Real Madrid's series of extraordinary results in the last decade. The Brazilian full-back has won as many as 25 trophies, including five Champions League crowns and six LaLiga titles.
