Harambee Stars forward Joseph Waithira has wasted little time settling into life at South Sudanese side, Jamus SC, after scoring his maiden goal for the club during their pre-season preparations.
The Kenyan striker was on target as Jamus edged Future Generation FC 1-0 in their third pre-season friendly, with his solitary strike proving enough to hand the reigning South Sudan champions another encouraging victory ahead of the new campaign.

Confirming the result on their official social media platforms, Jamus celebrated the striker's decisive contribution with a brief but telling message.
"Full Time: Jamus 1-0 Future Generation. Third friendly match. King Joe," the club posted after the final whistle.
The goal marks a positive start for Waithera, who completed his move to Jamus last month following a sensational 2025-2026 season with Murang'a Seal.
