Masud Juma

Fresh from scoring the match-winner in the 1-0 win over IR Tanger last time out, Masud was on target again this time netting in the 3-1 win over RS Berkane in the Moroccan Botola Pro.

Berkane opened the scoring three minutes after the half-hour mark through Brahim El Bahraoui who went on a solo run and fooled the keeper by slotting the ball into the near post.

Mohamed El Jaaouani eased head coach Abdelhak Benchikha’s halftime team talk as he restored parity at the stroke of halftime with a looping header that found the back of the net.

Difaa picked up from where they left from as Masud needed only two minutes to put them ahead with his deft header enough to beat the onrushing keeper.

Chouaib El Maftoul put the game to bed in the 65th minute when Masud played a low cross-field pass that was dummied by one of the Difaa forwards in the box for Maftoul to bang home the third goal.

Berkane’s misery was compounded in the 90th minute when Abdelkarim Baadi was handed his marching orders as Difaa held on for the win.

Eric Marcelo Ouma

Kenyan international Eric Marcelo Ouma lasted full minutes for AIK in the 2-0 win over Kalmar in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

After a goalless first half Alexander Milosevic finally put AIK ahead in the 58th minute with Sebastian Larsson who is fresh from featuring in the European Championship for Sweden assisting him.

The former Sunderland midfielder then got his name on the scoresheet in the 91st minute as Eritrean forward Henok Goitom putting the ball on a plate for him.

Joash Onyango

Former Gor Mahia defender Joash Onyango was present for Simba’s coronation after clinching the 2020-2021 season in style by thumping Namungo FC 4-0 in the Tanzanian Premier League.

Onyango was not included in the matchday squad but Meddie Kagere, John Bocco and Chris Mugalu’s brace were enough to see the heavyweights lift the title in style.
