A number of Kenyan players abroad were in action on Saturday

Divock Origi - Nottingham Forest

Divock Origi, son to former Kenyan International Mike Okoth, was a second half substitute as Nottingham Forest register a comfortable 2-0 win over West Ham in the English Premier League.

Origi has been sparingly used by Nottingham since he joined the club but he will be comforted by the fact that he put in a good shift in the few minutes he was in against West Ham and that could lead to more game time in the upcoming matches.

Erick "Marcelo" Ouma - Raków Częstochowa

In Poland, Harambee Stars left-back Erick "Marcelo" Ouma featured for 66 minutes as Rakow Czestochowa picked a 3-1 win over Piast Gliciwe.

The win pushes Rakow to fifth on the log with 35 points from 20 matches.

Amos Wanjala - Gimnàstic de Tarragona U19

Harambee Stars U20 captain Amos Wanjala was introduced in the second half by Gimnastic de Tarragona U19 as they suffered a 2-4 loss to Barcelona U19 II in Spain.

Naturally a centerback, Amos featured as a left-back in this particular match for Tarragona U19, which is the professional side of the Nastic Academy.

Victor Wanyama - Montreal CF

Former Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama came in on the 64th minute as Montreal CF lost 1-4 to Tampa Bay Rowdies in a friendly match played in Florida earlier this morning.

Clarke Oduor

Kenyan wingback Clarke Oduor earned the Man of the Match award as Bradford City picked a vital 1-0 win over Sutton in an English League Two game. Oduor played the entire game and played a big part in setting up the winning goal.

Jesse Were and Ian Otieno - Zesco United

The Kenyan pair, Jesse Were and Ian Otieno, represented Zesco United in a match that ended in a 1-1 draw against Konkola Blades. Ian featured for the entire 90 minutes, whereas Jesse joined the game as a substitute in the 66th minute.
