AC Milan's Alessandro Florenzi was full of praise for his teammate ahead of the Rossonerri's Europa League tie against Rennes (8.45 PM)
Rossonerri's right-back Alessandro Florenzi described Rafael Leao as 'an artist of football' ahead of AC Milan's UEFA Europa League clash against Rennes scheduled for Thursday night.
After the 3-0 triumph at San Siro, the return leg at Roazhon Park should be a dead rubber for the Italian greats.
Milan dropped down from the Champions League after finishing third in the group and are now in the Europa League play-off.
"It will be a battle, but we must not think too much about the first leg result with Rennes. We have to take it one game at a time. We know that we are a strong team that can aim to win something important," said Florenzi.
Rafael Leao continues to perform inconsistently, but Florenzi has an interesting way of describing the positives and negatives of a talent like this.
"He is young, but very eager to learn. Every now and then, he wakes up on the wrong side of the bed, but he's an artist! He knows that he can improve."
