The French left-back, 28, will probably renew his deal for another year, mostly because of the Royals' boss
Real Madrid left-back Ferland Mendy has been widely praised and respected by the Royals' boss, Carlo Ancelotti.
The Italian tactician has been patient with the 28-year-old injury-prone defender, and it will pay off for Mendy big time as things stand.
According to Relevo, Real Madrid are now considering offering a renewal to Mendy, who has just a year left on his deal. He has become the starter again and performed well.
Here at Mozzart Sport Kenya, we discussed the possibility of Leny Yoro's signing, just as much Alphonso Davies', but the latest rumours show they could maybe opt for the well-known solution.
It's the coach's trust that could decide the whole thing.
Ancelotti has described Mendy as the best defensive left-back in the world this season, and against Manchester City, he was not beaten by any of the opponents that Pep Guardiola threw at him during the Champions League quarter-finals.
