Kiprono seeking to exit Zoo in the forthcoming transfer window
Highly-rated national U20 and Zoo FC midfielder Danson Kiprono has expressed his desire of ditching the club in the forthcoming transfer window.
The attacking midfielder was a hot cake in the February transfer window as the deep pocketed duo of KCB and Ulinzi Stars were reportedly muscling for his signature but he chose to stay put.
With Zoo unable to participate in the top flight following their alleged involvement in match fixing and their subsequent relegation, their players are understood to have intensified their hunt for new homes even as the transfer window beckons.
Recently, the club's centre back Alex Onchwari admitted that he landed an invite to train with Kariobangi Sharks but remained mum on whether the latter had tabled an offer.
Congratulations Danson Kiprono

Kiprono says it is just a matter of time before he exits Zoo as their expulsion from the league left him stranded and their continued stay in the dark will serve to puncture his development more.
"I will not mind leaving Zoo in the next window. If I will get a good offer then I have to painfully leave the club which introduced me to the world. It's a pity that I can not do what I like most because of the expulsion from the league but hopefully, I will get a new club and pick from where I left, " he said.
Initially, Zoo players were understood to be training even as FIFA threw them out of the top flight but paused after the Ministry of Health suspended sporting activities in the Lake Region last month.

Kiprono regretted that the government's pronouncement dealt them another major blow as they broke camp leaving every player to train individually.
"We were training as usual despite our fate in the elite league already sealed. However, we had to break camp after the government suspended sporting events in our region. I have to train on my own which is not as effective as when training with my colleagues, " he rued.
