The young Spaniard continues to impress

The central sporting event at the moment is Wimbledon, and all eyes are on two men - Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz. And while Novak's dominance has lasted for more than a decade, the young Spaniard aims to be a worthy challenger. He already played one final against a Serb and lost, and now something similar could happen at Wimbledon, where Alcaraz is showing his full potential and talent, so much so that many started to compare him with the biggest sports stars.

Football legend Gary Lineker has compared Alcaraz to Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for the way he progressed to the semi-finals after easily defeating Holger Rune without losing a single set.

Alcaraz's performance impressed Lineker so much that the Englishman could not leave his mind unspoken.
