The association is looking to have four teams in next month’s Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) National Provincial playoffs set for Mombasa.

Coach Evelyn Kedogo will be hoping to guide her two sides Dream Girls and Africa's Dream to victory this weekend when Game Two and Three of the Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA) league are played at Strathmore University grounds.

The league entered the homestretch last weekend with Game one of the best-of-five semis series for both women and men played where both Kedogo's charges found themselves on the losing end.

Dream Girls lost Game One to Safe Spaces 44-36 with Florence Mbithe and Millicent Ouma firing the latter to victory with ten points each to lead the series 1-0.

Other women's pairings saw Stanbic Bank dismiss Olympic Tigress 31-23 despite the losers’ Marsha Roseline managing a march-high 12 points.

In the men’s category, Moischers continued their unbeaten run in the season with a 82-61 victory over Allstars.

Abdulahi Said shot 21 points as Jeff Onyango and Wycliffe Rayasi added 17 each. Allstars’ Irungu Maina scored 13 and Brayan Mwalo made 10.

The other game saw Clique Mambas defeat Africa's Dream 62-57 in a fiercely contested game. Williams Onditi provided 22 points and Duke Mairura 15 for the winners as Clinton Lijondo hit the losers’ 15.

The association is looking to have four teams in next month’s Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) National Provincial playoffs set for Mombasa.

The inter-provincial tournament, which will determine the county teams to be promoted to the KBF lower tier league next year, is scheduled for December 17-18.

The finalists in each category will feature at the Mombasa event.
