The side is set to feature in the East Africa Police Games.
Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) women's volleyball team head coach Daniel Bor has confirmed that their weekend league matches will be postponed to a later date.
The Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) women's league fourth-place finishers have requested for the matches to be moved to pave way for their team to honour the East African Police Games set to serve off on 21 March in Rwanda.
Coach Bor's side was set to face off with Kenya Army and Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) as they looked to get back to winning ways following their 3-1 loss to holders Kenya Pipeline in the last league leg.
"We wrote to the department in charge of fixtures and our matches will be shelved for a later date.
We have been preparing for the regional competition and are hoping to fly the Kenyan flag high in Rwanda," coach Bor said.
As part of their preparations, the investigators had a chance to play holders Kenya Pipeline in two friendly matches at the latter's training centre in Nairobi's Eastlands.
"I am grateful to Pipeline management for allowing us to play the build up matches. They have helped us to identify areas that need working on.
Our defense has been our main undoing and in the remaining days ahead of our travel to Rwanda we will be working to improve on that," Bor added.
