The event is also conducting CSR events that include planting trees.
She has previously gone head-to-head with the men in the sport and taken them for their worth, only this time Maxine Wahome will be behind the wheel competing against fellow women drivers.
Wahome headlines the all-female Lionesses rally set for Sunday 27 March at Kasarani Special Stage where ten crews will do battle.
Navigated by Safina Khan, Wahome comes to the race with a loaded CV having started out as Autocross competitor and collecting several accolades on her way up.
She was the only female driver at last year's Safari Rally which was making a return to the World Rally Championship (WRC), then navigated by Chantal Young.
"It is such an exciting opportunity for women drivers in the country to have them racing against each other. Of course, I am happy to be here and be part of this historic race. As far as the competition goes, I am keeping my cards close to my chest and letting the dust speak," Wahome told TheSportsMoran.
The teacher by profession will go up against some experienced drivers, top of the list being former KBC prime-time anchor Pauline Sheghu who will be navigated by Mitchelle Chao.
Lisa Christoffersen, founder of the Lions Rally Club, under which the rally is organised will also be behind the wheel alongside Lilian Onduko as her co-driver.

Christoffersen says the idea was borne at the end of the WRC Safari Rally as she, alongside Sports CS Amina Mohamed kept wondering why they were only cheering men at the spectator stage at Hells Gate.
“Nine months later, we are here to see the baby born and it is such an exciting day to see that we can finally have this. An exciting race involving 10 teams of women-only races and organized by women," she beamed.
Jael Amondi will be the youngest driver in the race. At 23, this will be her first time ever in a rally car.
