Shujaa's 100 percent record in the Edmonton 7s continues.
The Kenya Sevens men's national team, Shujaa booked a ticket to the quarter-finals of the Edmonton 7s following a 26-12 win over Spain in Pool B.
Shujaa were coming into the match following a 38-5 win over Chile in the opening clash of the tournament and will play the USA in the final Pool game at 2:35 AM on Sunday.
Kenya were straight into the thick of things from the onset as they capitalized on a botched attempt at gathering the ball with Billy Odhiambo again feeding Nelson Oyoo to land the first try of the game.

Ambaka spilt the ball after a heavy tackle with Spain restarting the ball quickly in a move that ended with Carmona Alberto scoring a try after stretching the Kenya defence.
Innocent Simiyu’s charges however hit back almost immediately as Alvin Otieno offloaded the ball to Billy Odhiambo who went on a lung-bursting run to grab his first try of the Edmonton Sevens.
Mark Kwemoi who came on as a substitute got his name on the try scorer’s list as he picked up the ball from the ruck to power through the try line to go into the break with a 19-5 lead.

Spain resumed the second half looking to salvage something from the game and were handed a route back into the tie went Arnau Andres touched down with the try converted to make it a one-score game.
Kwemoi bagged his brace from a scrum on the five-meter line as his quick thinking saw him bulldoze his way into the trybox for his third five-pointer in the tournament.
