The Bankers hope to emulate Impala Saracens and Nondescript as the only sides who have won five consecutive Kenya Cup titles.
KCB RFC have been peerless in recent seasons of the Kenya Cup with flanker Andrew Amonde crediting their dominance to the tireless players, technical bench and their sponsors.
The Bankers have claimed four consecutive Kenya Cup titles and did so in style last season overturning a huge deficit in the closing minutes of the final against Kabras.

Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Amonde noted that the playing staff put in an extra shift in training while the technical bench and sponsors provide the extra push.
“I think what works for us is the way players work very hard because we usually give our all in training and the technical bench also works hard to get us what we need to know. We also have to give credit to our sponsors who support the team and ensure we have the environment to get the results that everybody is pleased with,” said Amonde.
KCB are unbeaten this season, winning all the games they have played with their only blemish being the draw handed in the initially postponed clash against Blak Blad.

Amonde was however coy on their chances of emulating Impala Saracens and Nondescript as the only sides who have won five consecutive Kenya Cup titles.
“We are just focusing a game at a time because we are still on the course of achieving that we are playing a game at a time and we are focused on just getting to the finals first,” added Amonde.
