Upto five teams in the league have everything to play for in the last game of the season
When record Kenya Cup champions Nondescripts RFC and Homeboyz RFC take to the pitch on Saturday 26 February 2022 at the Jamhuri Park, only one thing will be on the mind of both sets of teams – victory.
As things stand, the two sides find themselves precariously on the brink of relegation from the Kenya Cup as they sit in 10th and 11th on the log with both of them tied on 15 points heading into their last game of the season that could potentially end up with the loser facing the chop.
Simply put, both teams need a win if they are to secure their top-flight safety. Snooze and probably you end up losing.

Just a spot below the two sides is 10 time champions Resolution Impala Saracens who need nothing else apart from a win when they take on Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) at the Impala Club.
The Oscar Osir coached side are currently languishing at the bottom of the log on 12 points and face an uphill battle in maintaining their top-tier status as they not only need to win big. Even if they secure a bonus-point win that takes them to 17 points, the team will still need other results from the teams above them to go their way.
That means, they will be hoping that Nakuru and one of Nondies and Homeboyz to lose their game for them to escape relegation.
Team news.

Elsewhere, 2013 and 2014 champions Top Fry Nakuru also find themselves very much in a spot of bother when they take on neighbors Menengai Oilers in the Nakuru Derby at the Nakuru Athletic Club.
Sitting in 9th on 16 points, just one above the drop zone, the team could very much find themselves sucked in the relegation equation if other results play out to their disadvantage as they have a huge negative points differential.

At the RFUEA Grounds, Kenya Harlequin, who are also not out of the woods yet, will be hoping to close off a dramatic season on a high when they face a secure Mwamba. After a run of three straight wins under new head coach Amady Diallo, the 8-time champions have lost seven straight matches as they sit just two points above the safety places.
All the matches above kick off at 1500 EAT.
