The winger moved to Scotland in May.
Kenyan forward Jonah Ayunga was in action as his side St Mirren fell to Arbroath by a solitary goal in the Premier Sports Cup in the opening match on Saturday evening.
The 24-year old was handed his competitive debut by coach Stephen Robinson alongside the new signings quartet of Trevor Carson, Declan Gallagher, Mark O'Hara, and Toyosi Olusanya.
Ayunga went on to feature for the whole 90 minutes but was withdrawn for Lewis Jamieson in the first minute of added time with the two teams still in a deadlock.

Dylan Paterson stole victory for the visiting Arbroath in the fifth minute of stoppage time in the second half after being set up by Michael Mckenna to bag maximum points, four minutes after the Kenyan had exited the field of play.
Mirren thought they had taken the lead early in the first half when Greg Kiltie had the ball in the net but it came after referee Kevin Clancy had blown for a foul by Ayunga on Arbroath goalkeeper Derek Gaston.
The Kenyan joined St. Mirren from English Football League (EFL) League One side Morecambe in the current transfer window after a rollercoaster season that was hampered by injuries.
With the loss, Mirren are fourth in Group E, which has five teams and play bottom-placed Cowdenbeath in the second round of the competition next weekend.
