Munich club marked another very important victory in the title race

After a first half in which they didn't show much, Bayern Munich players stepped on the gas in the second half, took the lead, and then controlled the game to secure another three points, extending their advantage over Bayer Leverkusen.

No one even questioned who the favorite was in the match between Bayern Munich and St. Pauli, regardless of the current state of both clubs. However, the visiting team made sure it wasn’t all smooth sailing for Vincent Kompany’s squad, as they proved to be a tough challenge for the Bavarians, at least in the first half.

Just as the match kicked off, we saw the first chance in the 2nd minute. Leon Goretzka rose above the defense and firmly directed his header towards the left post, but Nikola Vasilj was ready, diving to stop his attempt. Four minutes later, the hosts created another good opportunity. Konrad Laimer found himself in the penalty area, received a great pass, and took a shot, but a defender’s sliding tackle blocked his effort.

The visitors showed they hadn’t come just to watch the ball hit their net, which became evident in the 14th minute when they struck the crossbar from a free-kick. However, Bayern took the lead in the 17th minute. Michael Olise send a pass to Harry Kane inside the box and Englishman quickly slotted it into the left side of the GOAL! The goalkeeper stood no chance.

Yet, in the 27th minute, Jonas Urbig was also helpless as the visiting team managed to equalize after a well-worked move. The ball came in from the right side, and Elias Saad was in the right place to bring his team level. There is the GOAL!

Just two minutes later, we saw a third goal in the match, scored by Harry Kane, but it turned out the Englishman was in an offside position.

Bayern didn't hesitate too much, so we have seen a exciting moment just eight minutes after the start of secon half. Leroy Sane scored brilliantly into the right side of the GOAL after receiving a great pass from Michael Olise.

In the 70th minute, Jamal Musiala received an accurate pass in the penalty area and immediately took a shot. His powerful strike rattled the crossbar.

Just a few seconds later, the ball was in the net again! Harry Kane provided the assist, and Leroy Sane easily scored from close range. There is the GOAL!

In the remaining time, Bayern controlled possession and calmly saw out the match, but, in the second minute in addition time we saw a GOAL from St. Pauli. The defense left too much space, and Lars Ritzka knew how to take advantage of it. He smashed the ball into the bottom right corner, leaving Jonas Urbig with no chance.
