Juventus are interested in signing Axel Disasi, but now they've got a serious contender - Bayer Leverkusen
Axel Disasi captained Chelsea in their last UEFA Conference League clash against Shamrock Rovers at Stamford Bridge a few days ago, but this could be his last European game for the Blues.
According to Sky Sports journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Bayer Leverkusen has joined Juventus in the race to sign the 26-year-old France international, whose current contract expires in 2029.
Disasi fell down the pecking order following Enzo Maresca's arrival and is struggling to get a proper opportunity this season. The former Monaco centre-back has clocked just 184 minutes in the Premier League so far.
Therefore, it's possible that he'll change the team as soon as in January, with Juve and now Leverkusen being the top contenders for his signing.
As things stand, the Bianconeri don't have the financial means to pull off a deal. On the other hand, the Bundesliga greats are close to selling Jonathan Tah. Should Tah leave, Bayer Leverkusen could make their move for Disasi.
