If there's a player in the world who is under intense public scrutiny, it's Neymar. All because of his desire to return to the Brazil national team and feature in his third World Cup.
However, Carlo Ancelotti won't call him up because of his reputation. The 34-year-old will have to deserve it, and his behaviour doesn't inspire optimism. Especially after the latest scandal...
Namely, according to Brazilian ge.globo, Neymar clashed with the son of another legendary forward, Robinho, during Santos' training session, slapping the youngster after a brief argument!
The two were left out of the squad for the derby duel against Palmeiras two days ago, and were a part of a practice for the unused players. The 18-year-old reportedly dribbled past the veteran, who felt disrespected and asked him to "take it easy".
As per ge.globo, the argument grew fiercer, first turning into pushing and shoving, before culminating in a slap and a trip, leaving Robinho Jr on the ground.

Neymar's representatives allegedly claimed they had no knowledge of the matter, while Santos refused to comment on the situation, just fueling the rumours and lending credibility to the story.
In the end, the whole drama has reportedly been resolved, as the former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain superstar apologized for his behaviour, and he and Robinho Jr restored their old "godfather and godson" relationship.
Now, the only question is how Ancelotti will see the whole situation. Knowing Carletto and how much he values harmony on the team, Neymar didn't need this scandal at all.
