Brave Troyed led twice at Parc des Princes but still ended up on the wrong end of a 4-3 thriller
Paris Saint-Germain's matches usually entertain even if it's without their matches being close. They play nice, they've got big-name players, and they usually destroy whoever comes their way in the French Ligue 1. But it was a lot different on Saturday evening. Troyes led twice against the reigning champions but had to admit that Messi, Neymar and Mbappe had too much in their arsenal on the day.
Mama Balde gave visitors a shocking early lead, finishing expertly past Gianluigi Donnaruma. Neymar was in the mood tonight, and he provided a great ball for Carlos Soler to fire home and level.

However, Troyes wouldn't back down. Despite being overwhelmed by the Parisians, they retook the lead through that man Balde again.
PSG only needed a few minutes to even things up, though. They did so when Lionel Messi unleashed an unstoppable shot from long range that left Gauthier Gallon helpless. It was the best goal of the night, but the hosts needed more.
Neymar was the one who blasted another goal in following a beautiful through ball from Messi, and Kylian Mbappe increased the cushion to two goals with a well-taken penalty.
Troyes got a late consolation goal through Ante Palaversa, who had entered the game only a few minutes earlier. Even though they couldn't do much more, the manner in which they stood up to Ligue 1 favourites will surely please their supporters. If they can score three goals at Parc des Princes, there is no reason why they couldn't do it anywhere!
