AFC Leopards also extended their fine run in the year after edging Nzoia at Nyayo Stadium
League returnees Shabana were expected to draw motivation from their Mozzart Bet Cup win over the Naivasha-based Shalimar in the round of 32 played last weekend and beat Bandari so as to avoid sinking deeper into the red zone.
However, the Samuel 'Pamzo' Omolo outfit picked from where they left two weeks ago, losing to Bandari 0-2 to attract more pressure in their attempt to hold on their status in the top flight.
The loss to Bandari stretches their winless run in the league to five matches and will have to be at their best in the remaining eleven matches so as to beat the drop.
Bandari, who have been doing fairly well since their shocking exit from the cup won the contest courtesy of goals from Francis Kahiro and Ugandan midfielder William Wadri.
Kahiro has three goals against his name since joining the dockers in the mid-season transfer window from KCB and his strike against Shabana takes his overall goal tally in the season to nine.
Murang'a Seal 0-0 KCB
On the same breath, KCB failed once again in their bid to register their first league win in the year after playing debutants Murang'a Seal to a barren draw at the St. Sebastian Park.
The result means that the bankers have gone for eight league matches without a win, a run that puts coach Bernard Mwalala and his backroom staff under pressure.
AFC Leopards 2-0 Nzoia Sugar
Meanwhile, the bottom-placed Nzoia moved a step towards the opposite direction after losing 2-0 to AFC Leopards at the Nyayo National Stadium.
Nzoia, just like Shabana and Muhoroni Youth are in serious risk of being dropped to the National Super League following their series of unwanted results.
Leopards who haven't lost in their last ten matches across all competitions secured the three points after Arthur Gitego and Hassan Beja found the back of the net.
This was the first time Gitego, a Rwandese national who joined Ingwe in the mid-season transfer window was scoring in the league, picking from where he left last weekend when he hit a hat-trick in the Mozzart Bet Cup.
