Ahead of today's fixtures, Posta Rangers are at the summit of the league table with 10 points, three points more than Shabana, Kakamega Homeboyz and Bidco United, all of whom are tied at seven points.

The biggest highlight of the day will be the match between Kenyan giants AFC Leopards against KCB set to take place at the Ulinzi Sports Complex from 1600 hrs.

Leopards head into the match seeking their first win of the season after all their three previous league matches ended in stalemates.

The end result of Ingwe’s performance is the 15th position they occupy on the 18-team log that has also caused unrest in the club.

A section of the fans sent warning letters with a two-match ultimatum to head coach Fred Ambani, his assistant Kennedy Wendo and fitness coach Vincent Mbwavi. Today's match is the last of the two games.

Ambani will be encouraged by the fact that he guided the 1998 league champions to pick four points from KCB last season; 4-2 victory in the first leg, and a barren draw in the return leg.

On the opposite side of Ambani’s dugout will be Robert Matano - a man familiar with both the league and the club.

Matano, who has three league titles to his name, joined The Bankers before the start of the season with an aim of guiding the team to what would be their first ever league title.

From the four matches that the former Tusker coach has been in charge, KCB have won twice and lost as many, leaving them seventh on the log with six points.

Speaking ahead of the match, the former AFC Leopards coach said: "Every match poses different challenges and every match is a final for us. We have prepared well and are ready to go and win.

We need consistency in training and matches to gain match fitness. When you rest for two weeks without competitive matches, the match fitness is lost, but we have managed that. On the other side, we have minimized our injuries because of the rest and are ready for the match."

At Bukhungu Stadium, Mozzart Bet-sponsored Kakamega Homeboyz will welcome military side Ulinzi Stars for a clash from 1400 hrs.

Homeboyz are third in the log with seven points, and will be angling for a win that would potentially take them to the summit of the table, at least until after Sunday's fixtures.

Ulinzi, on the other hand, will be keen to end their three-match winless streak that leaves them ninth on the table.

The other match of the day will see Kariobangi Sharks play host to league newbies APS Bomet at Kasarani Annex from 1500 hrs.

Sharks managed to secure their first win of the season in their last match at the expense of Mathare United, while APS Bomet are still looking for their maiden win or point in the top tier, having lost all their three previous matches.
