The law enforcers, who are expected to be among the busiest clubs in the ongoing transfer window, are strengthening their squad as they target success in the FKF Premier League and the Mozzart Bet Cup.

Diamond Trust Bank (DTB), one of the club's sponsors, presented Kenya Police with Ksh5 million to support their transfer activities.

The club also received an additional Ksh1 million from their patron, Principal Secretary for Interior and National Administration Raymond Omollo.

The funds were presented during the club's gala awards dinner held at a Nairobi hotel on Tuesday, 7 July.

Despite the financial injection, Kenya Police chairman and Senior Assistant Inspector General (SAIG) Nyale Munga urged more partners and supporters to back the club as it seeks to recruit quality players ahead of the new campaign.

"We all want glory for the team. We all want Police FC to be champions of both the FKF Premier League and the FKF Cup. To do so, we must go to the market and strengthen our squad with more quality players.

I cannot do that work alone or with the board. That is next to impossible. We are therefore calling on all supporters of the team and our different partners to give us the financial support that will enable us to achieve our targets," said Munga.

Munga further revealed that Omollo, together with Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Kenya Police Service Eliud Lagat, who serves as the club's deputy patron, had also pledged to support the club's recruitment drive.

Kenya Police are rebuilding after an underwhelming 2025/26 campaign in which they failed to defend their FKF Premier League title, finishing third. They also missed out on retaining the Mozzart Bet Cup after losing the final to Tusker.
