Owiti says he is available for selection after rejoining team from Nigeria
Under fire AFC Leopards winger Jaffari Owiti has vowed to answer his critics on the pitch after being reintegrated in the squad.
Owiti alongside his colleague Marvin Nabwire have been on the receiving end of sharp criticism for allegedly absconding duty and sneaking out to attend trials in Nigeria.
The two players who are said to have tagged along with budding Nairobi City Stars attacking midfielder Timothy Ouma made a low return to the country on Sunday and joined the rest in training from Monday.

Owiti who insists that he is ready for selection when Ingwe face debutants Bidco United on Sunday says the best way to respond to criticism directed his way is by giving the best on the pitch.
" I am working hard to regain my place in the team after being away for some time. A lot has been said over my absence and the only way to respond to it is by helping the team win its matches," he said.
The former national U23 midfielder in the meanwhile opened up on the controversial trip to Nigeria and his gains from the trials.
Owiti absolved himself from any wrong doing saying he had sought permission from the club before hitting the runaway contrary to information doing rounds on social media which suggests that the three players left behind their employer’s backs.
"The management was aware of my whereabouts. I left with their blessings and that is why I was not subjected to disciplinary proceedings upon my return," he added.
The former Chemelil Sugar midfielder who renewed his stay at the den for an additional two years in January revealed that he managed to register two assists in the five test matches he played in Nigeria.
