The club has lined up talented signings to fill the gaps left by Maruti and others who left the club earlier.

Mara Sugar assistant coach Godfrey Naibei is not a worried man following the exit of captain and dependable player Dennis Maruti.

The millers, on Tuesday, through their official social media handles confirmed the exit of the defensive midfielder without disclosing his next station though Mozzart Sport has since established that the player has inked a deal with Murang'a Seal.

Maruti's move to St Sebastian Park will see him debut in top flight football having featured in all lower tier leagues in the country.

The hard-tackling midfielder joined the Sugar men in 2020 from FKF Division One side Transfoc and quickly established himself as a core part in then coach Steve Biko’s squad and later cemented his place under veteran John Baraza earning him the armband.

Naibei noted that the club has lined up talented signings to fill the gaps left by Maruti and others who left the club earlier.

“His exit is much welcomed at the club as it shows growth within our camp and is a motivation to those remaining. We have lined up quality replacements who we feel will take the league by storm," he said.

The former Zoo Youth gaffer who also instructed Maruti at Transfoc FC has tipped the player to flourish in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League despite being new to the stage attributing it to his intensive work rate as a midfleder.

"I am sure he will succeed in the top flight. His work ethic will play advantage as he will blend easily with the rest of the squad as well as benefiting from top coaching offered there," he concluded.

The Narok stationed club has also parted ways with attacker Fred Nyakundi who joined Gusii FC, others on the exodus are former Sofapaka man Collins Wakhungu, centre back Javier Angasa, winger Muhanji Kevin, full back Kevin Kyalo and Calvince Otieno.
