Maybe it's not Tottenham that's the problem. Maybe it's Kane

The Englishman debuts for Bayern but they missed out on the trophy after a Dani Olmo masterclass
How many times have you heard that Harry Kane was leaving Tottenham so he could finally win a trophy or two with Bayern? Probably too many times. And even though the chances of the Bavarians winning something are better than Spurs doing so, Kane's first fight for a trophy ended in a far too familiar way for the striker.
RB Leipzig won the German Super Cup by destroying the Bavarians in their own backyard and winning 3-0. Dani Olmo scored a majestic hat-trick to silence the crowd at Allianz Arena and make Kane's second-half appearance off the bench no more than a fleeting piece of football trivia.

A product of Barcelona's La Masia, Dani Olmo never played for the Catalan club, but he showed tonight that he's got more skill than many players who played for Barca in the past decade. The 25-year-old made the most out of David Raum's free-kick and hit a firm shot past Bayern's backup goalkeeper Sven Ulreich.
The second goal was pure magic. Timo Werner played Olmo in the box, and the Spaniard turned on a nickel, made Konrad Laimer and Matthijs De Ligt look like fools before poking the ball between Ulreich's legs. Sublime skill.
After Raum's corner, Mazraoui has his right hand high up in the back of the penalty area and blocks Seiwald's header with it. It was a penalty - and Olmo made no mistake.
Bayern's attempts at goal were meek and useless tonight. If they do indeed retain their Bundesliga title, it wouldn't be a shock - but considering the early evidence, there will be teams ready to go for their throat. Last season, Borussia Dortmund fell at the last hurdle - but this year Leipzig could prove an even tougher foe.
Despite losing four first-teamers in Dominik Szoboszlai, Josko Gvardiol, Christopher Nkunku, and Konrad Laimer, Die Roten Bullen looked like a compact team, in which young Xavi Simmons -- another player Barcelona gave up on far too easily -- showed class despite his tender age.
Bayern Munich had won six out of the last seven DFL-Supercup's to an aggregate score of 20-10.

Harry Kane signs for them this morning, and they lose 3-0. 🙃 pic.twitter.com/Ihfg87433D
And Harry? Good luck to him. After he failed to lift the trophy on the same day he signed for Bayern, we'd like to know if Daniel Levy, the man who made Bayern splash all that money, was watching this game and smiling proudly.
