No school like the old school - Russia's head coach does the opposite of the Coca-Cola EURO 2020 trend

Footballers keep following Cristiano Ronaldo's example and are putting aside drinks they do not approve of - gaffer of the Russian team couldn't be bothered
"Agua! (Water!)”, Ronaldo said, before replacing two bottles of Coca-Cola with a bottle of water.
Ronaldo's actions apparently had a massive impact, with Spanish Marca reporting that Coca-Cola shares went from being worth 242 billion USD to $238 billion USD - a $4 billion loss after Portuguese's gesture.
Italy's Manuel Locatelli, Azzurri hero on Wednesday evening as they beat Switzerland 3-0, did the same in his post-match press conference.
Scotland's John McGinn made fun of the whole situation - as he was siting down before the journalists and saw only water next to the microphone, McGinn asked with a smile 'Any Coke?'
Different drink - same story with French star Paul Pogba. Devoted Muslim Pogba moved away the bottle of non-alcoholic Heineken from the shot. Funnily enough, Pogba - one of the faces of Pepsi - did not move two bottles of Coca-Cola that were in front of him.
The ways of sponsorships are strange and wondrous.
However, Stanislav Cherchesov, head coach of Russia's national team, paid no mind to the upcoming trend at EURO 2020 press conferences.
The 57-year-old saw two bottles of Coca-Cola and in the coolest of ways used one bottle to open the other. He after took a couple of sips, fully unaware of what Ronaldo and the rest did.
As per RT journalist Liam Tyler, Cherchesov was asked: "Didn't you see what Ronaldo did? He got rid of it."
Cherchesov took the simple and careless approach of refreshing himself with the fizzy drink.
Yes, we know, Cherchesov is no where near the image today's footballers are, but you just miss seeing situations such as this - being oblivious in a cool way. Rare thing to witness in today's worldwide business of football.
