City Stars maintained second position after their 3-0 win over Mathare United on Saturday.
Nairobi City Stars are mounting a serious title charge this season with their forward Ezekiel Odera vowing to keep fighting for their maiden league crown this season.
Simba wa Nairobi trail log leaders Kakamega Homeboyz by two points albeit the latter having a game in hand as they take on Bidco United on Sunday.

Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Odera revealed that landing their first-ever Premier League title remains paramount in the club as they chase hot on the heels of Homeboyz.
“Winning the title is our main objective this season, we are currently in the second position and we will continue pushing to get to the first spot. In the two games we played against Homeboyz we maintained the five points gap and we just hope that they can continue dropping points,” said Odera.
Homeboyz and City Stars played back to back games at the end of January that ended in draws as no side was able to gain an advantage in the title race.

The former AFC Leopards forward is currently the club’s top scorer and is four goals off the league’s most prolific player Clifton Miheso.
