The ill-advised TikTop post was the last straw for the Nigerian, as he removed all social media posts linking him to the club
Poor form, idiotic social media posts, failure to agree on a new contract, accusations of financial wrongdoings - it's all happening in Naples. After their star player, Victor Osimhen endured taunts from the club itself on TikTok, as Mozzart Sport Kenya reported on Tuesday night.
Finding Napoli-related content on Osimhen's Instagram page is nearly impossibleThe now-infamous video was removed, but it's not calmed the storm brewing in the Serie A holders' camp. It could all go to court!

Osimhen's agent, Roberto Calenda, expressed dissatisfaction with how Napoli treats his client.
"What happened today on Napoli's official TikTok profile is unacceptable. A video mocking Victor was initially posted and then, belatedly, deleted. This serious matter causes significant harm to the player and adds to the mistreatment he has endured lately, including media trials and fake news. We are considering legal action and any necessary initiatives to protect him."

Do you think Osimhen will score against Udinese tonight?

The dialogue between the club and the player could really end up in court. To make matters worse, Osimhen deleted all photos with Napoli's jersey from his Instagram profile in the evening. It's not the kind of atmosphere you'd like to have at your club. The Nigerian wants to distance himself from the club, and it wouldn't be a surprise if he officially demanded a transfer away from Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. There are bound to be several rich clubs interested.
Meanwhile, there are allegations of financial misconduct against Napoli's president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, related explicitly to false accounting. This investigation comes after the Naples prosecutor's office received documents from their counterparts in Napoli regarding Osimhen's transfer from LOSC Lille. According to Napoli prosecutors, the accusation of fictitious capital gains should be dropped, but false accounting charges need further examination. The investigation was transferred to Rome due to territorial jurisdiction, as Osimhen's contract was formalized in Rome.
